Rescheduling Policy

General Terms

  • Rescheduling bookings is subject to the rules, availability, and fare conditions of the respective service providers.
  • Not all bookings are eligible for rescheduling. Eligibility depends on: service type; supplier policy; and time of request.
  • Any applicable rescheduling fees, fare differences, or supplier penalties must be borne by the user.
  • Travelliyan acts as a facilitator and does not control third-party rescheduling decisions.
  • All rescheduling terms are disclosed to users in advance, in compliance with the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 (Bangladesh).

Hotel Bookings

  • Hotel rescheduling depends on: hotel policy; room availability; and the rate plan selected.
  • Date changes may result in rate differences or additional charges.
  • Non-refundable hotel bookings may not be eligible for rescheduling.
  • Any approved rescheduling is confirmed only after hotel approval.

Air Ticket Bookings

  • Air ticket rescheduling (date/time changes) is governed strictly by airline fare rules.
  • Airlines may charge rescheduling or changing fees and fare differences.
  • Some tickets are non-changeable.
  • Travelliyan service or convenience fees are non-refundable and non-adjustable, unless stated otherwise.

Bus, Train & Ship Tickets

  • Rescheduling is subject to the policies of the respective transport operators.
  • Changes may be allowed only within a specific timeframe prior to departure.
  • Additional charges or full rebooking may be required.
  • Missed departures are not eligible for rescheduling.

Pick & Drop Services

  • Pick-and-drop services may be rescheduled within a specified timeframe before service commencement.
  • Late rescheduling requests may attract additional charges.
  • Availability of vehicles and drivers is subject to confirmation.

Holiday Packages

  • Holiday package rescheduling is subject to: package terms; supplier availability; and seasonality.
  • Date changes may result in repricing or additional service charges.
  • Once a holiday package has commenced, rescheduling is not permitted.

Visa Services

  • Visa services are not eligible for rescheduling once documents have been submitted or applications lodged.
  • Embassy appointments, if rescheduled, are governed by the respective authorities' rules.
  • Additional fees may apply for any permissible changes.

Rescheduling Request Process

  • To request rescheduling, users must:
  • Contact Travelliyan within the allowable timeframe
  • Provide the booking reference number and preferred new schedule
  • Pay any applicable rescheduling fees or fare differences in advance

Force Majeure

Travelliyan shall not be liable for rescheduling failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters; government restrictions; pandemics; strikes; political unrest. Rescheduling in such cases will be subject to supplier policies.

Consumer Rights & Fair Practice

  • In compliance with the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 (Bangladesh):
  • All rescheduling terms are disclosed transparently before booking
  • Any service failure directly attributable to Travelliyan will be addressed fairly
  • Users may seek clarification or dispute resolution through official contact channels
